Dr. Stephanie Leon is an experienced psychologist and neuropsychologist specializing in child development, chronic health conditions and supervision. She has extensive experience working within interdisciplinary teams alongside other professionals to provide comprehensive care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Leon has presented on key topics to diverse audiences, including physicians, healthcare professionals, mental health practitioners, educators, and daycare providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dedicated to sharing research-based psychological and neuropsychological knowledge, Dr. Leon aims to support fellow professionals in their practice. She offers a variety of speaking engagements and workshop opportunities tailored to meet the needs of her audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Leon earned a Bachelor\u2019s in Sciences (Honours) from McGill University which focused on psychology and neuroscience. She subsequently completed her M.A. \u2013 Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa. Her extensive doctoral training included providing clinical services across diverse hospital settings, where she gained expertise in individual and group therapy, as well as conducting comprehensive psychological, psychodiagnostic, and neuropsychological assessments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For her pre-doctoral residency, Dr. Leon trained in adult and older adult neuropsychology at Baycrest Health Sciences and the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto, renowned institutions specializing in brain health and complex medical care. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Leon is a published researcher, further underscoring her commitment to advancing psychological and neuropsychological knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, Dr. Leon has served as a clinical psychologist, neuropsychologist, and clinical supervisor at CHEO (Children\u2019s Hospital of Eastern Ontario). There, she worked on interdisciplinary teams in Chronic Pain, Infectious Diseases, and Behavioral Neuroscience and Consultation Liaison. She is now in private practice, where she continues to provide high-quality psychological services while maintaining an active role in research through her affiliation with CHEO\u2019s Research Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
